Dali records the scenery and buildings of his native Catalonia. The title of this painting refers to the walking path and wall down by the ocean's edge, near where Dali was painting. Done in a moderate impasto, this painting is a good example of how Dali was always experimenting with artistic techniques, even at this young age.
