I would like to be informed as to exhibitions happening throughout the year. Also, I am taking a graphic course in which I have chosen to replicate "The Persistence of Memory" by using Paint Shop. What I am urgently needing is to know what kind of paint, brush strokes or any other information pertaining to his painting that I can use to create my own impression of his painting. Please email as soon as possible.

I am seeking to do research on Dali and his niche in academia and religion through his idea of revelation. His paranoiac- critical method intrigues me as the true conquest of the irrational, resulting in a search for truth beyond hypothesis. It would be appreciated if someone who knows how I can pursue my academic interest in Salvador Dali would respond to this. Thank you, -Danny

This is without a doubt one of the best overall, superbly informative, attractive, easy to link to and from websites I have ever witnessed. I did a search this morning to locate a view of the melting clocks (apprently the 'Persistance of Memory'?)for my husband, and spent the following two and a half hours viewing, studying and analizing Dali's works. Thank you for your comments, which give such an enlightening into the man, without the standard, snobbish art critic view that one is usually subjected to when doing similar viewings.I am sure we shall return often.. Dali is an insperation to all artist. His work exlores both mental and sexual allusions of man and combines love and hate in a vicious circle. The collection depicts Dali's work in a way that even he would be satisfied.

I love good art, I love to see growth and expansion of one's bounds in their efforts to answer what others can not about one's deepest feelings and you can see that in Dali's work. I was obsessed with Lord Byron and I am intrigued with Dali. Thank you for bringing him closer to me.

I have only recently learned of his work and become a big fan of his. I and My style has much in commom with his and I respect him and his work to the fullest. This site has everything I need for my project on Dali. And now I can get some ideas for works of my own, I I won't feel so crazy because he's at least 10 times as psycho as I could ever attempt, but I mean that in a good way. Because to be an artist you have to be not in touch with this materialistic world, you have to tap into that void that has endless bounds and could never be charted or exploited.

WOW WOW WOW and WOW again i did not realise he had done so much. What a Guy Dali was. Although I can not agree with the posting "Dali is God" the reason for this is that God is Dali. Looking forward to going to the Tate in Liverpool.

I have been to the Museum at Figueres, Spain and that had been an exhilarating experience for me. Had it not been for a friend who dragged the rest of us to that museum, I would still have been ignorant about Dali's great works. After surfing this site, I look forward, with much eagerness, to a non-cyber visit to this museum located in St. Petersburg, Florida. :-)

AN INTENSE FEELING OF EXILARATION (EXCUSE MY SPELLING)OVER TOOK ME WHEN I FIRST SET MY EYES ON 'SLEEP' BY S.DALI. IT SHOWS IN FULL DETAIL OF HOW SOMEONE IS COMPLETELY OVERTAKEN BY THE DREAMY SUBCONIUOS OF SLEEP. THE LIMP STICKS THAT ARE HOLDING THE FACE (DALI) EXPRESSES THAT SLEEPING IS FRAGIL, AT ANY MOMENT WE CAN FALL TO EASILY AWAKEN FROM SLEEP JUST LIKE THOSE LIMP STICKS WHICH ARE SOON TO BREAK. THANKYOU DALI FOR AND INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE AND THE MANY MORE PAINTINGS THAT HAS INSPIRED MANY PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD.

gorgeous, beautiful, fantastic, marvelous, and all the other wonderful adjectives you would like to add! Dali is a genius and I'm elated that I can come and see his work right here at home (although hopefully I'll be able to get there in person!). Thanks for a good time!!

I am a big fan of the VERY LIMITED works I have seen of Dali's. I LOVE the "persistence of memory" don't ask me about the rest of it...I just know I like that one. I'll see if I like the rest here in a little, now won't I? Jeanette

"Ascent into the sky" is ,put quite simply, awe inspiring. Salvador's work is the pinnacle of surrealism. His painting's deserve to be studied and admired by the world and beyond. It's pure genius.
