I teach at an Art School. One of the students did a written project on Dali and creativity. The site was very helpful in giving me a perspective for commenting on the paper. Lots of excellent pictures.

I've visited the Dali Museum 3 times in my life & have always found it to be a pleasurable experience along with very informative and of course educational. I'm very happy to have several prints of his in my home. I hope that you keep the spirit of Salvador Dali alive forever. The man was quite a genius. I plan to provide a link to this page from my home page. I want to share the arts with as many as possible. Please send me any mail that might interest me. Thanks

I visited the museum in November of 1996 - it was, by far, the most amazing experience I have ever had. I spent many hours simply staring in awe at the brilliance (or is it insanity?) of this man. Nothing I had ever seen before could come close to comparing. It was the highlight of my trip to Florida. One question-- is The Three Ages available in print anywhere? I recently purchased Swans Reflecting Elephants - but would have preferred The Three Ages. Hopefully some day I'll find it!!

I absolutely adore the work of Salvadore Dali. His attention to detail is beyond compare. I only wish I had the opportunity to see some of his original works. I have a book which shows some of his pen & ink sketches which is also fascinating. Great web site. Thanks for the tour. Regards Glenn

Salvador Dali is the messiah of subjective art. He saw the world through the eyes of his subconscious mind. The barrier erected by society between sanity and insanity blurs and the reality of human existence emerges in his works.

Great website, of course an actual trip to the museum is better. I visited your museum about 3 years ago. While there I saw a painting having a glass of wine as part of the subject. It looked so real one would have thought you could have drank it. The painting was very small. Sadly, I did not see it in your scanned image collection.

Disfruté mucho el recorrido por el museo. es muy interesante tener el acceso a las obras de Dalí a través de internet. I love the web site and I love Dali's works. My husband and I purchased a set of collector plates 25 years ago called "Royal Flush" - a set of 5 plates, each depicting a face card. Does anyone have any (and I mean ANY) information regarding these plates. We can't find anyone who can give us information. For instance, what are they worth? Thanks for your wonderful web site and thank you for any help.

Excellent. I am looking for a surrealist print I saw at the Nassau County Museum of Art on Long Island, NY. I'm not sure if it was Dali or not, but it seems to have the same types of certian figures. The print I am looking for has lots of breasts and penises walking around doing activities together. It was a very large print, slightly perverted but really neat! If anyone has any idea who the artist may be, please call me at 617-278-2417 or e-mail me at profgrace@aol.com. Thank you.

I was at this museum when I was eight. It has had such a prolific impact on my life, that I am constantly aspiring to the surreal perfection that Salvador achieved. I no doubt will never reach his level of power, but believe that art can (SHOULD) only move in one direction developmentally. Surrealism is the finest frontier out there. WOW. I saw this stuff in person. (Eighteen year old)

There is a local antique boutique here in a neighboring city which has possession of and is asking $2,200 for an original sketch signed by Dali himself. Is this price valid? Dali,Dali,Dali was indeed the greatest artist's of the 20th century. Yet it would be good to remember thateven Dali himself said in the 12 secret tips for an Artists, that if one thinks that the artists of today have surpasssed the genuis of the Old masters, they are truly not worthy of reading or even looking at Art. Thus all the fools who say that Dali is the greatest artists of our universe is nothing more than that of ignorant fool. Perhaps they have eaten themselves into a a placid argument. Dali was superior to picasso and all the modern Artists but he still can not compare with Leonardo or Vemeer

Of course this doesn't take the place of standing before one of the Master's own works, but I sure am glad i found it. As an artist, Dali was an early inspiration. Thankyou, and kudos...

I was attracted to Dali's art the moment I saw his paintings on the 1998 calender. Nobody's works have ever left me as impressed and as inspired as his. I am very glad and honoured to be one of the lovers of his arts. I hope i would be able to go to the Museum some day. And I am very happy that this website was created.
